Surrender your All

God is glorified when we surrender our all to him. When we minister in dance, the Lord wants us to be sold out completely. Luke 10:27 says, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind…..

Surrendering can be challenging in dance because it involves getting out of yourself, forgetting about how beautiful you look in your praise attire and then moving your flesh out of the way. As believers, once you get your self out of the way the dance becomes spirit to spirit, allowing God to take full control.

Unless we are totally surrendered, God can not work through us. In order to surrender, it is important for us to put aside our self pride so we can move out of our comfort zone. Remember our purpose in dance is to glorify God, and if you are trying to please yourself or someone else your spirit will not surrender and so God is not glorified!
